How You’ll Shine
Joining a dynamic, vibrant and customer focused team you will provide and maintain a high standard of service while ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their experience.  We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and motivated person with great customer service skills and food preparation experience to join the team as a Chef at Club Wyndham Wanaka.   Full-time or Part-time positions available

  • +$29.66 per hour

  • Minimum of 30 hours per week

  • Design and create a small café-style menu
  • Manage food preparation and presentation
  • Provide excellent front-of-house service
  • Work independently and lead all aspects of café operations

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Previous experience within a similar hotel position is desirable, but not essential
  • No experience or qualfications required
  • Proven experience in menu design and food preparation

    Dedication and leadership to handle responsibilities independently

    Knowledge of spirits and wine (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Ability to work weekends

  • Varied shift times but main afternoon closing shift

  • Front of house, plus cooking

  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and Food Safety knowledge

  • Commercial Cookery qualifications and/or experience

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards

  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends

  • Knowledge of OH&S guidelines and legislative food safety requirements
